To Begin With
You start with $5 of your own
You can't start before the start date decided by your group

Keeping it Fair
You can't buy or sell to Family or Friends (or Enemies or Frienemes or Acquaintances) aka - strangers only. (This keeps from a known party from buying something for more than it is worth just to help the player win)
You need to take pictures of each item bought.
You can buy from Garage Sales, Craigslist, Thrift Stores, Market, Online or Auctions
You can sell at a Garage Sale, Market, Flea Market, Craigslist or Online (or Lemonade Stand)
You can't spend money until you have the money from item sold. If your money is tied up in a purchase you can't buy more for the game until that item sells.
You don't have to spend all your money on each item. The remaining funds can be spent on additional items or held and used toward a future purchase. You can buy multiple items as long as you still have a balance to by them with.
You can repair or embellish an item before reselling it, as long as you spend money you've earned in the game to pay for improvements. You can use tools, glue, nails, screws and paints you already own or borrow them. All other improvements need to come out of your account balance.
Items you get for free can not be sold to add to your challenge money. You can't pay for free items in order to use them. (Keeps players from accumulating free items to add skew their earnings later, all items must be for sale when purchased)

I'm Gonna Win
The last item needs to be sold before the end date to count for the selling value. If your still holding the last item, your total is the amount you spent on that item and whatever remaining cash you didn't spend.
